Follow these guidelines to protect your investment and keep your vehicle looking its best — long after you leave our shop.
First 7 days —
critical cure period
Your coating is chemically bonding to the paint. Protect it during this window — what you do now determines how well it performs for years.
- Do not wash the vehicle
- Avoid rain exposure if possible — park under cover
- Do not touch or wipe the paint surface unnecessarily
- If water contacts the surface, gently blot dry with a clean microfiber towel — do not wipe or drag
The correct
wash method
Improper washing is the number-one cause of swirl marks and coating degradation. Follow these steps every time.
Thoroughly rinse the vehicle to remove loose dirt and debris before making contact.
pH-neutral car shampoo only. Dish soap and harsh cleaners degrade the coating over time.
One bucket for clean soapy water, one for rinsing your wash mitt between panels.
Never use sponges or brushes. Microfiber significantly reduces the chance of scratching.
Start from the roof and work your way down to the dirtiest lower panels.
Remove all soap completely, then dry with a clean microfiber drying towel or a blower.
Never wash in direct sunlight
Water and soap dry too quickly on a hot surface, leaving mineral spots and streaks that can etch or spot the coating.
Keep the coating

Consistent care is the difference between a coating that lasts 3 years and one that lasts a lifetime.
- Bird droppings
- Bug splatter
- Tree sap
- Water spots
Remove these as soon as possible. Left on the surface, they can etch or permanently stain even a coated vehicle.
- Automatic brush car washes
- Harsh chemicals or degreasers
- Abrasive towels or dirty wash tools
- Letting dirt sit for long periods
- Washing in direct sunlight
- Use a ceramic-safe spray sealant occasionally to boost surface performance
- Keep microfiber towels clean and washed separately from other laundry
- Stay consistent with washes — don't let buildup accumulate
The better you maintain your coating, the longer it lasts — and the better it performs. A consistent wash routine every two weeks is all it takes to keep your car looking as good as the day it left our shop.
